Who's Gonna Drive You Home? Me.

Today is a bit of a big day. A nerve-wracking, yet exhilarating day. My first driving lesson.

Please excuse the yawn... turns out being this excited/freaked out is exhausting!
Yes, I know I’m not a teenager. Yes, I know I’m a little overdue. But for a plethora of reasons I’ve been a non-driver, up until now.

I thought, to honour the occasion, I should wear something that I would have been happy to wear had I got my license at the, you know, conventional age.

But really, who am I kidding. I’ll wear something I would have worn in high school at any available opportunity.

Plus I couldn’t find driving gloves and goggles at such short notice.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to figure out how to flip the bird while keeping my hands at 10 and 2.

  1. good luck with the driving :)

  2. Yay! Great work for getting out there and just doing it, Im sure you will be sitting your test (and passing it)in no time!! TBH I hate driving, I find it tedious but I would hate it even more if I couldn't drive myself places.

  3. Actually, 9 and 3 is proven to give the driver more control ...

How did the drive go? I can't imagine you were terrified and lacking in confidence about the experience.

  4. Good luck! Driving is scary, but you get used to it fairly quickly, just try not to think about what could happen if the world were a very bad place.

I love your photos, did you use double exposure?

  5. That outfit is so adorable! I love all the layering, you look so cool and eclectic! Good luck w/ your driving lesson!

  6. Cute outfit!!

And haha don't worry. I haven't driven a car ever. I only got my permit so I could have ID to go to pubs. Haha. I plan to learn one day though.

Go ahead, leave a comment. Don't be shy.
